Overview
In this role, you will join the Employment, Pensions & Immigration team in Bristol to advise NHS organisations, healthcare providers and related bodies on employment matters. You will manage complex litigation across tribunals and courts, and support multi-disciplinary teams on TUPE, workforce issues and due diligence. You will also deliver training, manage client relationships, and supervise junior colleagues while contributing to business development. Responsibilities
- Advise NHS organisations, independent healthcare providers, and voluntary sector operators on employment matters
- Manage complex litigation across tribunals, the EAT, Court of Appeal and High Court
- Support multi-disciplinary teams on TUPE, workforce issues, and transactional due diligence
- Deliver training and support client relationship management
- Supervise junior colleagues and contribute to business development
Key requirements
- 4+ years PQE in employment law
- health and care sector experience preferred
- strong litigation and/or advocacy skills
- TUPE and transactional experience including drafting
- experience with restructures, redundancy processes, and employee relations issues
- strong drafting, accuracy and attention to detail
- excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
