Overview
In this role you act as the technical lead for analog and power solutions, guiding system-level design engagements and supporting customers from concept to production. You collaborate with cross-functional teams to align Analog, Power, Processor, and Connectivity subsystems, driving design-in to design-win outcomes. You’ll translate deep component knowledge into scalable system solutions and provide hands-on debugging and guidance to accelerate customer designs. Your work helps shape product strategy through field feedback and technical enablement activities.

Responsibilities
- Lead analog & power design discussions and perform design reviews at system level
- Support pre- and post-design activities including technology introduction, component selection, and issue resolution
- Drive evaluations and competitive positioning for Renesas analog and power portfolio
- Ensure integration across Analog, Power, Processor, and Connectivity subsystems in customer designs
- Provide direct technical guidance to customers to accelerate concepts to production
- Deliver field feedback to product divisions for roadmap prioritization and gap analysis
- Develop and deliver customer trainings and internal enablement content
Key requirements
- Degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering
- Strong experience in Analog and Power Electronics (customer-facing or design role)
- Proven system-level power architecture design experience
- Schematic and PCB layout review experience with power integrity and thermal considerations
- Bench characterization, validation, and debug of power systems
- Ability to work across domains with MCUs/MPUs, DDR, high-speed interfaces, and connectivity subsystems
- Hands-on lab proficiency with oscilloscopes, power analyzers, thermal analysis, and transient measurements
- Strong communication skills and ability to translate complex concepts to customers
- Self-driven, collaborative, and able to own complex engagements
