Overview
In this role you join the non-contentious construction team of a leading Bristol law firm to advise on construction matters. You will work independently and with colleagues to draft and negotiate contracts, prepare appointments, and support energy projects. You’ll collaborate across offices while delivering excellent client service and managing deadlines. Responsibilities
- Advise on construction legislation and practice
- Draft and negotiate JCT and NEC contracts with bespoke amendments
- Prepare professional consultant appointments
- Draft collateral warranties, bonds, and guarantees
- Apply contract law and dispute resolution processes
- Support clean and renewable energy projects (desirable)
- Collaborate with colleagues across multiple offices
- Deliver exceptional client service and manage multiple deadlines
