BMS Service Engineer

Overview

In this role you will service and maintain BMS across a portfolio of sites, ensuring reliable operation and energy efficiency. You’ll join a mobile team within a large facilities organisation, working on schools, hospitals, offices and government buildings. You drive improvements, handle reactive faults, and provide clear cost estimates for enhancements. Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on BMS systems across multiple sites to ensure smooth operation
• Respond to reactive calls and participate in a mobile on-call rota with associated benefits
• Collaborate with peers to identify improvements and optimise energy performance of systems
• Prepare reports, cost estimates and quotes for system enhancements
• Manage maintenance tasks across diverse portfolios, including schools, hospitals and offices
• Maintain compliance with BPSS vetting requirements

Key requirements

• City & Guild / BTEC / NVQ in Electrical or BEMS
• Experience with at least one: Trend, Tridium, Distech, Siemens, Niagara
• Knowledge of HVAC and mechanical systems in a commercial environment
• Full UK Driving License
• BPSS vetting
