Overview

In this role you will join a leading national law firm’s Professional & Financial Risks team in Bristol, focusing on professional indemnity matters for insurers and large firms. You will manage a diverse caseload, defend broker negligence claims, and advise on regulatory issues while supporting business development. Responsibilities

• Defend broker negligence claims
• Act for brokers in commercial disputes, including commission-related issues
• Manage claims from small to multi-million pounds
• Advise on regulatory issues, risk management and policy coverage
• Manage pre-litigation and litigated claims
• Liaise with clients, insurers, brokers and stakeholders
• Support business development and contribute to team initiatives
• Maintain high professional standards, client service and compliance

Key requirements

• 2-5 years PQE
• ideally with broker negligence experience
• strong litigation experience
• excellent technical, analytical and drafting skills
