Solicitor / Legal Executive – Family Law NQ + Exeter

Overview

In this role you will join a well-regarded Devon firm to handle a varied family law caseload, advising clients through divorce, financial settlements and children matters. You will work within the Exeter family team to deliver clear, empathetic guidance and maintain up-to-date legal knowledge. You will help shape client relationships and the growth of the family department.

Responsibilities

• Run and progress your own day-to-day caseload
• Provide clear and empathetic legal advice
• Keep up to date with legal developments
• Build relationships with clients, referrers and local networks
• Support the team with marketing and business development activity

Key requirements

• Qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive (or close to qualification)
• Experience in family law across a range of matters
• Legal aid experience helpful but not essential
• Strong client care skills and a professional, approachable manner
• Ability to manage a busy caseload with accuracy and attention to detail
• Confident communicator who enjoys teamwork
• Organised, proactive and comfortable using modern case management systems
