Overview

In this HR Advisor role, you will support the people strategy across recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, engagement, and policy development. You’ll partner with managers to drive talent management, organisational change, and informed decision-making through HR reporting. Responsibilities

  • Talent Management: support recruitment, onboarding and talent development, and assist with succession planning.
  • Employee Relations: advise on disciplinary, grievance, and performance processes; ensure UK employment law compliance and policy adherence.
  • Colleague Engagement: design and run engagement initiatives; analyse surveys and act on feedback; promote diversity, equity and inclusion.
  • Induction and Onboarding: manage and improve the induction program and ensure smooth integration of new hires.
  • HR Reporting: prepare and analyse HR metrics and KPIs to inform decisions and improvements.
  • Organisational Restructures: assist with change initiatives, restructures, and redundancy guidance with legal compliance.
  • Policy Development: review and update HR policies to align with legislation and organisational goals and ensure clear communication

Key requirements

  • Proven experience in a generalist HR role, ideally in the UK
  • Comprehensive knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and discretion in handling sensitive matters
  • Proficient in HR systems and Microsoft Office Suite
