Business Readiness Project Manager

Overview

In this role you will lead business readiness activities for a major finance transformation, coordinating across multiple areas to ensure processes, people and stakeholders are prepared for change. You will drive readiness plans, governance alignment, and cross-functional dependency management to enable successful adoption of new technology and ways of working. This is a collaborative, programme-wide position with significant impact on delivering a transformed finance function. You will work within the Ad Astra programme, contributing to a world-class finance capability and change delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage business readiness activities for assigned business areas with programme stakeholders
• Create, maintain and track business readiness plans to deliver key activities on time
• Monitor risks, issues, assumptions and dependencies; drive actions for successful delivery
• Ensure alignment with programme governance, methodologies, controls and reporting requirements
• Develop and maintain detailed workstream plans aligned to the overall programme
• Collaborate with business leaders to secure resources, manage priorities and resolve delivery challenges
• Collaborate with programme teams to identify and manage cross-functional dependencies
• Facilitate regular readiness, planning and status meetings with clear progress updates
• Capture lessons learned and drive continuous improvement for future delivery

Key requirements

• Proven project management experience delivering large-scale business transformation or change programmes
• Experience managing multiple projects or workstreams from initiation to implementation and closure
• Knowledge of project governance, planning, risk management and PMO methodologies
• Experience using MS Project, Jira, Visio and Excel
• Good understanding of Waterfall, Agile and hybrid delivery approaches
