Overview

As an Executive in EY-Parthenon’s Infrastructure Advisory, you help public and private sector clients shape transactions and strategic financial decisions for infrastructure projects. You’ll work in small, cross-functional teams delivering option appraisals, business cases, and procurement structuring, with exposure to senior stakeholders. The role combines financial modelling, policy insight, and advisory across energy, transport and government sectors to drive sustainable, value-driven outcomes. You will grow through coaching, diverse projects, and a culture focused on delivering a better working world.

Responsibilities

  • Provide expert financial, commercial and strategic advice to clients on transactions and policy/financial strategy
  • Support option appraisals to enable informed decision making
  • Develop financial models and financing structures, including scenario and sensitivity analyses
  • Create business cases with economic, financial and commercial evaluation
  • Structure procurements and evaluate bids for project sponsors and draft bids for public services
  • Present reports to senior client stakeholders to facilitate decisions
  • Support clients in achieving sustainability goals
  • Drive business development aligned with EY’s growth strategies

Key requirements

  • Understanding of Government, Energy and Transport sectors
  • Financial modelling capability
  • Commercial and financial acumen
  • Strong report drafting and presentation skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Professional financial qualification (preferred) e.g. CA, ACA, CFA, MBA
  • Bachelor’s degree level or equivalent
