Overview

In this role you join a high-growth Corporate team in London to work on a broad mix of high-quality transactions. You will collaborate with partners and senior lawyers while gaining direct client exposure early, with clear progression opportunities. You’ll contribute to M&A, VC/PE investments, equity fundraisings, and governance matters, tackling complex due diligence and documentation. The position offers hybrid working and the chance to shape deals for founder-led and growth companies in a supportive, entrepreneurial environment. You will work closely with specialists across offices and help drive the practice forward.

Responsibilities

  • Support partners and senior associates on a wide range of corporate transactions
  • Manage due diligence processes and report Findings
  • Draft and negotiate ancillary transaction documentation
  • Assist with key transaction documents (share purchase agreements, investment agreements, asset purchase agreements)
  • Prepare disclosure letters and manage signing and completion processes
  • Supervise trainees and paralegals on transactions
  • Build and strengthen client relationships through regular contact and business development activities
  • Contribute to the ongoing growth and success of the practice

Key requirements

  • Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales with 2-4 years’ PQE in corporate law (private practice)
  • Technically strong with excellent drafting skills
  • Commercially minded and client focused
  • Organised, proactive and able to manage multiple transactions simultaneously
  • Strong communicator with excellent relationship-building skills
  • Ambitious and keen to develop profile within a growing team
  • Desirable: Technology sector experience
  • Desirable: Health & Social Care sector experience
  • Desirable: Cross-border transactions involving inbound UK investment and acquisitions
