Overview
In this Finance Analyst role, you support the Northern European Hub with planning, forecasting, and reporting to drive informed decisions and strong operational performance. You’ll partner with cross-functional teams and contribute to process modernization using AI and automation. The position blends hands-on financial analysis with stakeholder advisory to improve forecast accuracy and business cases. Responsibilities
- Support annual business planning and ongoing forecasting processes
- Maintain and improve forecast models and track accuracy
- Analyze key performance drivers and provide actionable insights
- Challenge assumptions with robust financial analysis
- Assist budget owners in understanding spend variances and forecast accuracy
- Prepare month-end reports and commentary in line with accounting policies
- Collaborate on forecasts with leadership and highlight deviations
- Support ad hoc analyses, business cases, and project requests
- Build relationships with stakeholders as a trusted financial advisor
- Collaborate with Marketing, Supply Chain, and HR on financial initiatives
- Utilize AI tools to enhance analysis, draft commentary, and streamline processes
- Identify and automate repetitive tasks using Power Query
- Work effectively in a fast-paced, matrixed environment
Key requirements
- Strong analytical skills translating data into insights
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; experience with Power Query, Power BI, or scripting (VBA, Python) is a plus
- Hands-on experience with generative AI tools for analysis, drafting, or modeling is advantageous
- Interest in automation and improving efficiency in repetitive tasks
- Experience with SAP-SAC systems is beneficial
- Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders
- Attention to detail with a broader business perspective
