AI Platform Engineer – £150-200k – 4 days a week in Central London

We are working with a fast-growing financial research and technology firm that builds AI-driven investment products for institutional clients, combining deep domain expertise with large language models to generate data-driven insights and trade ideas. Our client is part of a larger group but operates with its own distinct, entrepreneurial culture.

They’re now hiring an AI Platform Engineer to turn their team’s models and agents into reliable, production-grade products.

You’ll own:

• APIs connecting data, models, and user interfaces
• Authentication, permissions, logging & monitoring
• Model/tool orchestration
• Usage, cost & error tracking
• Review queues and audit trails
• Internal tools powering research and client-facing content

What you’ll need:

• API design experience (FastAPI or similar)
• Experience integrating LLM APIs / model endpoints
• Solid grounding in observability, logging, and production reliability
• Enough front-end ability to support internal tooling

Ideally targeting candidates from a PhD background
