Our client needs an experienced Engineer to design bespoke special purpose scientific equipment.

Under the guidance of senior engineers the Engineer will provide detailed designs of sub-systems and components.

Projects are conducted at both group and local levels so some travel is expected.

The ideal candidate will have the following profile:

• Engineering degree or equivalent
• Hands on experience
• 3D CAD design experience
• Microsoft office capable (Word, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint)
• Accurate, thorough, consistent, pro-active, assertive
• Good communication skills
• Team player

Any or all of the following would be pluses:

• Experience in material science
• Experience in vacuum systems, pneumatics, gas systems, automation
• Professional registration with a relevant Engineering body
