The Role

We are looking for a collaborative and energetic Account Management Team Lead to shape how we retain, grow and support a portfolio comprising some of the world’s largest financial institutions. Working principally with C-suite and VP-level stakeholders, you’ll build trusted strategic relationships, maximise client engagement and play a central role in achieving our ambitious revenue targets.

You’ll work closely and cross-functionally with our Commercial, Product and Client Delivery teams to ensure client priorities are understood and translated into action. Combining strategic leadership with hands‑on ownership of key relationships, you’ll bring structure and consistency to the client journey, oversee the delivery of key commitments and ensure an exceptional end‑to‑end customer experience as our client base grows.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leading the management of a portfolio of strategic clients – acting as a senior point of contact, cultivating trusted relationships and maximising engagement across each account.
  • Establishing a clear account management approach and operating rhythm that supports consistently high standards as our client portfolio grows.
  • Overseeing progress against client deliverables, proactively addressing risks and ensuring commitments are fulfilled to a high standard and within agreed timelines.
  • Developing a deep understanding of Evident’s solutions and market proposition to engage credibly with senior client stakeholders and identify where we can deliver additional value. Cultivating a reasonable level of subject matter expertise on AI in financial services to build credibility
  • Championing the voice of the client internally, ensuring client feedback, usage insights and emerging needs inform product development.
  • Coordinating access to Evident’s subject‑matter experts and analysts, ensuring complex client requirements and queries are resolved effectively.
  • Owning renewal strategy across the client portfolio in collaboration with our Client Delivery team, using customer data and account insight to strengthen retention.
  • Identifying and progressing expansion opportunities, working cross-functionally to convert client needs into sustainable revenue growth.
  • Maintaining an accurate rolling forecast and providing clear reporting on renewals, account health, risks and growth opportunities.

Core Skills

  • A proven track record of managing complex enterprise accounts and building trusted relationships with senior stakeholders, gained within SaaS, information services, consulting or a similarly client‑focused environment.
  • Demonstrated success in delivering against retention and growth targets across a portfolio of high‑value clients.
  • Strong commercial judgement, with the ability to develop account, renewal and expansion strategies informed by customer insight and data.
  • Significant experience working cross‑functionally and aligning multiple internal teams around shared client and commercial outcomes.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the credibility to influence senior stakeholders and a commitment to delivering an exceptional customer experience.
  • A structured, process‑driven mindset, with the ability to turn successful approaches into repeatable playbooks and scalable ways of working.

Nice to have

  • Experience selling to financial services clients.
  • Experience using a sales CRM (e.g. Hubspot).
  • Experience working within a start-up / scale-up.

If you do not fulfil all requirements in the job description, we encourage you to submit your application nonetheless.

Benefits

  • Share options: we offer all employees share options over a 4 year vesting period
  • Holidays: 28 days of holiday + public bank holidays
  • Flexible working: 3-4 days per week in our Central London office, 1-2 days remote
  • Learning & development budget: £1000/year
  • Pension
  • Private health insurance
