Role Summary
The Junior Sales Executive drives growth by identifying new business opportunities and qualifying prospects within the IT sector. This role exists to build a robust sales pipeline and support the full sales cycle, ensuring a steady flow of high-quality leads for the senior team. Operating in a full-time, hybrid capacity, this junior-level position measures success through activity volume, lead quality, and progression toward independent sales mastery.
Work Setup & Collaboration
- Work in a hybrid model, balancing collaborative office days with focused remote prospecting time.
- Collaborate daily with Senior Account Executives to align on territory strategies and lead handoff protocols.
- Operate with increasing autonomy, following structured sales cadences while managing your own daily outreach schedule.
- Maintain high CRM hygiene and process discipline to ensure transparent data sharing across the 51-200 person organization.
What You’ll Do
- Generate new business leads through targeted outbound calling, personalized emailing, and social selling on LinkedIn.
- Qualify inbound inquiries to determine business fit and book high-value demonstrations for senior sales staff.
- Research target accounts to identify key decision-makers and understand their specific technical pain points.
- Maintain a clean pipeline within the CRM, ensuring all interactions and follow-ups are documented accurately.
- Support the sales cycle by preparing proposals, drafting follow-up communications, and managing administrative tasks.
- Shadow client meetings and product demonstrations to master the company’s value proposition and sales methodology.
- Execute outreach campaigns in alignment with marketing initiatives to maximize brand penetration in new territories.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing and Product teams to provide feedback on lead quality and market trends.
- Manage daily activity targets independently to ensure consistent progress toward monthly and quarterly pipeline goals.
Success Indicators
- Achieve consistent weekly activity targets regarding outbound calls and personalized touchpoints.
- Deliver a defined quota of qualified meetings per month that progress to the discovery stage.
- Maintain 100% CRM data accuracy for all assigned leads and opportunities.
- Contribute to pipeline growth by identifying high-intent prospects within target verticals.
Required Qualifications
- 0-2 years of experience in sales, business development, or a high-volume customer-facing environment.
- Strong verbal communication skills for engaging prospects confidently via phone and video calls.
- Resilient mindset with the ability to handle rejection and maintain high energy in a target-driven role.
- Organizational skills to manage a high volume of leads without losing track of critical follow-up tasks.
- Technical aptitude to quickly learn and articulate the value of Information Technology products and services.
- Professional written communication for crafting clear, concise, and persuasive async outreach.
