Data Reporting and Analytics Specialist

My client is currently recruiting for an experienced Microsoft Power Apps Specialist to join a large technology and data environment on an initial six-month contract.

This is a hands-on role focused on designing, developing and maintaining robust Power Platform solutions. You will work closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into effective, fit-for-purpose applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop and maintain Microsoft Power Apps, including both Canvas and Model-driven Apps.

  • Translate business requirements into practical and scalable Power Platform solutions.

  • Design and configure Microsoft Dataverse, including tables, relationships, columns, business rules, views and forms.

  • Manage and configure Power Platform environments, supporting appropriate separation between development, test and production.

  • Work with solutions and deployments across Power Platform environments.

  • Configure and manage security roles, users, teams, permissions and access across Power Apps and Dataverse.

  • Troubleshoot and maintain existing Power Platform applications and solutions.

  • Apply development best practice, governance and performance considerations.

  • Work closely with technical and non-technical stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver effective solutions.

  • Contribute to the continuous improvement and optimisation of Power Platform applications.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Strong commercial experience developing Microsoft Power Apps.

  • Proven hands-on experience with both Canvas and Model-driven Apps.

  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Dataverse, including:

    • Tables and relationships

    • Columns

    • Business rules

    • Views and forms

    • Security roles

  • Practical experience managing Power Platform environments.

  • Experience working with solutions and deployment between environments.

  • Strong understanding of Power Apps and Dataverse security, including users, teams, roles, permissions and access.

  • Experience troubleshooting and maintaining Power Platform solutions.

  • Strong understanding of development best practice, governance and performance.

  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively within a wider technology team.

Desirable

  • Experience working in large or complex enterprise environments.

  • Experience with Power Platform governance and ALM.

  • Experience with managed/unmanaged solutions and deployment pipelines.

  • Previous experience within transport, infrastructure, public sector or other regulated environments.

  • Microsoft Power Platform certifications such as PL-100, PL-200, PL-400 or PL-600.

About the Role

You will join an established technology and data environment, working on applications and solutions that support business processes and improve the way teams work.

The role will suit a hands-on Power Apps specialist who can operate independently, engage confidently with stakeholders and take ownership of delivering high-quality solutions from requirements through to deployment and ongoing support.

Please note: This is an initial six-month contract, with the requirement to work 2 days per week onsite in London at Endeavour Square.
