Are you a qualified Electrician, Maintenance Electrician or Electrical Maintenance Engineer looking for a varied, hands-on role with a competitive salary and opportunities for overtime?

RecruitME is recruiting for an established energy facility in Wolverhampton, offering the chance to work on a wide range of industrial electrical equipment, including motors, LV systems, control panels and PLC/DCS equipment.

This is an excellent opportunity for an electrician who enjoys fault-finding, solving problems and keeping industrial machinery running reliably.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive electrical repairs

  • Fault-finding on industrial motors, LV systems and electrical equipment

  • Working with PLC/DCS control wiring and associated plant systems

  • Electrical testing, circuit tracing and interpreting technical drawings

  • Supporting breakdowns, planned outages and plant improvements

  • Working safely under Permit to Work procedures

What We’re Looking For

  • NVQ Level 3 Electrical, City & Guilds or recognised electrical apprenticeship

  • Experience in industrial electrical maintenance and fault-finding

  • Knowledge of motors, LV systems and electrical control circuits

  • Ability to read electrical drawings and work independently

  • 18th Edition desirable, but not essential

Experience in manufacturing, power generation, Energy from Waste, utilities or heavy industry would be particularly relevant.
