Project Support Officer22.5 hours per week, Fixed Term for 5 Years£19,830 – £21,672 Per Annum (inclusive of £1,822 Distant Islands Allowance)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Project Support Officer to join the Assets and Infrastructure team within Comhairle nan Eilean Siar. The post will support the delivery of major capital projects, in the first instance the Barra & Vatersay Community Campus project,  helping to ensure projects are completed within agreed programme, cost and quality parameters.

Working closely with the Senior Project Delivery Manager and project delivery team, you will provide comprehensive administrative, business and project support across a range of high-profile projects. Duties will include coordinating meetings and governance activities, maintaining project documentation, supporting financial and procurement processes, preparing reports and assisting with stakeholder engagement.

n

You will have excellent organisational, communication and IT skills, including a good understanding of Microsoft 365 applications. The ability to manage competing priorities, work effectively both independently and as part of a team, and maintain confidentiality is essential. Applicants should be educated to degree level or possess equivalent relevant office experience.

Appointment to the post is fixed term for 5 years.

Salary for the above post is inclusive of Distant Islands Allowance. Appointment to the post will be on the first point of the grade.
