About The Role


Management Accountant


INTERNAL APPLICANTS ONLYThis part-time 0.8 FTE (29.2 hrs) post is available from 1st October on a permanent basis.Salary will be £43,482 per annum pro rata on Grade F34 subject to knowledge, skills and experience.This role offers the opportunity for hybrid working – at least two days on campus, with the remainder days worked from home.We welcome applications from candidates interested in working part-time hours or job-sharing arrangements.


We are looking to appoint a Management Accountant in our fast-paced Finance Team. We are seeking to build capacity within our Management Accounting team, to support with the University’s long-term strategy. The successful candidate will be supporting with ad hoc projects, working with colleagues in the Financial Planning and Reporting team, as well as working with managers across the business.


The successful candidate should be qualified, or 1 exam away from qualifying, with excellent organisational, communication and influencing skills, an enquiring and analytical mind and skill set.
