Robotics Applications Engineer

The role

Forge Robotics is an early-stage UK venture bringing humanoid, quadruped and specialist robots from leading overseas manufacturers to UK businesses through demonstrations, trials, pilot programmes and Robotics-as-a-Service.

As our Robotics Applications Engineer you turn customer requirements into working robots: configuring platforms, programming behaviours and integrating payloads so every trial and pilot demonstrates something real.

What you will do

• Translating customer tasks into robot configurations, behaviours and safety setups
• Programming and tuning humanoid and quadruped platforms for trials and pilots
• Integrating payloads, sensors and site systems
• Supporting demonstrations with the field service and commercial teams
• Documenting applications so successful pilots become repeatable products

What we are looking for

• Robotics, mechatronics or software engineering background
• ROS/ROS 2, Python or C++ experience with real hardware
• Practical, customer-facing, and happy in the field as well as the lab
