A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Commercial Property Solicitor to join a thriving and growing commercial property team. You will be responsible for managing your own caseload of commercial property transactions from instruction through to completion, providing clear and practical legal advice to a varied client base. The role also offers excellent opportunities to develop client relationships, network within the local business community, and contribute to the ongoing growth of the department.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing a varied caseload of commercial property matters from start to finish.
- Advising clients on acquisitions, disposals, leases, commercial finance, and other property transactions.
- Meeting with clients in person, by telephone, and via correspondence to provide legal advice and updates.
- Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating legal documentation.
- Maintaining accurate and compliant client files and records.
- Managing case progression and diary commitments effectively.
- Responding to enquiries and providing quotations for prospective clients.
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships.
- Participating in networking and business development activities to generate new work.
- Keeping up to date with legal developments and regulatory requirements.
The successful candidate will have:
- Experience handling a broad range of commercial property matters.
- Strong technical knowledge of commercial property law and practice.
- Knowledge and understanding of CQS requirements.
- Excellent client care and communication skills.
- A professional and confident telephone and face-to-face manner.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- The ability to work effectively under pressure and manage competing priorities.
- Experience reviewing transaction documents and providing clear, practical advice.
- A proactive and commercial approach to client service and business development.
