We are looking for a reliable and motivated apprentice with a positive attitude and a genuine desire to learn a skilled trade. You will work alongside experienced Goss operatives and be allocated a dedicated in‑house mentor who will be responsible for your practical training.

Work
As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands‑on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.
What you’ll do at work
- Preparing, cleaning, sanding, filling and repairing surfaces.
- Applying primers, paints and specialist coating systems.
- Using brushes, rollers, hand tools and power tools safely.
- Commercial painting and airless spraying.
- Hygienic and fibreglass‑reinforced coating systems.
- Following manufacturers’ instructions, RAMS and strictly following site rules.
- Using PPE correctly and maintaining a safe working area.
- Producing work to Goss standards for quality and customer service.
Training
An apprenticeship includes regular training with a college or other training organisation. At least 20% of your working hours will be spent training or studying.
