The Role
As a Lift Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out a range of service, maintenance and installation activities across customer sites.
Lift Engineer
£45,000 – £50,000 DOE, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, vehicle, pension, overtime.
OTE up to £70,000 per annum.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Servicing and maintaining lift systems
- Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance
- Installing new lift systems and associated equipment
- Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults
- Carrying out fault-finding, repairs and component replacement
- Testing and commissioning lift equipment
- Identifying technical issues and resolving them efficiently
- Carrying out safety checks and ensuring equipment is operating correctly
- Working in accordance with relevant industry standards, regulations and company procedures
- Providing professional customer service while working on-site
- Completing service reports, job sheets and other relevant documentation
- Maintaining high standards of workmanship, safety and professionalism
What I am looking for:
- We are specifically looking for experienced Lift Engineers who can work confidently in a field-based environment.
- NVQ Level 3 in Lift Engineering
- Proven experience working as a Lift Engineer
- Experience in lift servicing and maintenance
- Experience with lift installation
- Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding ability
- Good technical understanding of lift systems and components
- Ability to diagnose and resolve faults independently
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Ability to work independently at customer sites
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Professional approach when dealing with customers
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
- Experience Is Essential
You must have demonstrable experience within the lift industry and be confident undertaking service, maintenance, fault-finding, repair and installation work with minimal supervision.
