56-year-old female in Bridlington is seeking support workers.
Females support needs include: Assist with general care and social activities.
Duties for support during day include; bathing, dressing, preparing meals, laundry, hobby activities, shopping and cleaning.
Days and Hours available – Saturdays and Sundays 9am – 1pm – however hours are flexible and can be reduced / increased dependent on candidate and availability.
What skills / experience are you looking for in candidates?
- Patience and kindness with a professional, friendly approach to care and safety.
- Experience of working with people with ASD / Down’s Syndrome / Autsim would be useful but not necessary.
Display eagerness to understand the complex needs of the person they are caring for.
- The ability to drive would be helpful but not essential.
DBS/Reference checks will be required for this post – Cost to be met by the local authority.
The Direct Payments Support Service is an in-house service provided by the East Riding of Yorkshire Council.
