The Role:
We are seeking an experienced, passionate and Deputy Nursery Manager to support our Nursery Manager in setting up our brand new 0–3 years nursery — a central part of our growing 0–11 all-through vision.
This is an exciting opportunity to be involved in shaping an exceptional Early Years environment, build strong relationships with families, and contribute to a seamless journey where every child is known, nurtured and inspired.
As Deputy Nursery Manager, you will support the day-to-day operations of our all-year round provision (8am–6pm), ensuring outstanding care, education and safeguarding for our youngest children. You will be part of Radbrook’s experienced Early Years Team, working collaboratively to deliver a warm, inclusive and ambitious offer for the Radbrook community.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leadership — model excellent practice and ensure a culture of warmth, professionalism and high expectations.
- Family Partnerships — build strong, trusting relationships with families, ensuring communication is warm, clear and supportive.
- Quality of Education — ensure planning, curriculum delivery and assessment is a rich, developmentally appropriate learning experience.
- Environment & Resources — ensure the nursery is a safe, stimulating and nurturing space that reflects children’s needs and interests.
