Salary: £32,073 – £39,043 per annum

  • To be eligible for this post you must be a GPhC registered Pharmacy Technician with 2 years post registration experience. Consideration will be given to the appropriate candidate to be employed on a Band 4 to 5, 12-month STEP programme should they not have full post registration experience**
  • To carry out pharmaceutical technical duties in specified areas of the pharmacy department under the overall direction of the Lead Pharmacy Technicians and the Chief Pharmacist.
  • To provide a safe, efficient and comprehensive high quality pharmaceutical service, under the direction of Lead Pharmacy Technicians to patients and staff of George Eliot Hospital NHS Trust.
  • To undertake training and accreditation in technical skills and knowledge as identified and agreed with Lead Pharmacy Technicians and the Chief Pharmacist.
  • Supervise and manage rotational pharmacy technicians on a day to day basis to support workload and workflow
