Hindpool Nursery require a Nursery Assistant (9 Months upwards)
35 core hours Monday – Friday (plus additional hours between 7.45 and 5.15pm when necessary) (term time only) Start date 6th January 2026. Permanent position.
Hindpool Nursery School seek Nursery Assistant with initiative and a caring, positive and flexible approach is required. The post will involve working closely in a team, supporting and providing individual care for pupils with a range of needs. The role will involve primarily working in 9 month old room but also working across our whole nursery site, with children from 2 – 4 years old.
- Is a committed, enthusiastic and has a passion for working with children
- Experience of working in this age range
- Works well as part of a team
- Holds at least an NVQ level 2 in Early Years
- Be a committed team member and be willing to become involved in the wider life of the school
- Have high expectations of both themselves and pupils
- Able to take the initiative and make decisions.
- Confidence in dealing with children.
- Understanding of Safeguarding in School; Health and Safety; Data Protection; Confidentiality issues
- Will support all staff to create stimulating learning environments
