Remediation Support Officer – London Fire Brigade
Are you organised, proactive, and passionate about improving building safety across London? Join the London Fire Brigade’s Remediation Support Team and play a key role in supporting the delivery of vital remediation and fire safety programmes.
As a Remediation Support Officer, you will provide core operational support across data management, stakeholder engagement, and remediation activity. You will track remediation progress and maintain accurate records of key documentation, including Fire Risk Appraisal of External Walls (FRAEWs) and evacuation strategies. You will engage with responsible persons, borough officers, and partner organisations, helping to ensure remediation projects remain on track and compliant with regulatory requirements.
The role involves supporting stakeholder meetings, coordinating follow-up actions, monitoring milestones, and identifying issues that may impact delivery. Working closely with Fire Safety Inspectors, Data Analysts, local authorities, and other agencies, you will contribute to collaborative solutions that help make London’s buildings safer.
We’re looking for someone with strong organisational and communication skills, excellent attention to detail, and experience in project coordination, compliance monitoring, or administrative support. Knowledge of building safety, remediation programmes, or fire safety processes would be advantageous.
