Contract: Temporary to Permanent

Hours: 7:00am starts, with potential 12-hour shifts. 5 days per week, including at least one weekend day.

HRGO Recruitment is currently recruiting for an experienced Counterbalance Forklift Driver to join our client in Chartham, Canterbury.

This is a great temporary-to-permanent opportunity offering full-time hours, with an immediate start available for the right candidate. We’re looking for someone who is reliable, hardworking and safety-conscious, with previous forklift experience.

Job Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently operate a Counterbalance Forklift.
• Load and unload pallets of fruit.
• Move stock around the warehouse and yard.
• Assist with stock control and inventory management.
• Complete general warehouse duties as required.
• Follow all health & safety procedures and company policies.
• Support with manual handling tasks when needed.

Requirements:

• A valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence – essential.
• Previous forklift experience within a warehouse or logistics environment.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team.
• A flexible attitude and willingness to assist with general warehouse duties.
• Your own transport is preferred due to the location.
