At Ocado Logistics it’s ourmission to change the way the world shops for groceries and it allstarts with our LGV drivers. Using our state of the art fleet –some powered by natural gas for specific routes and fitted withextra safety technology – our drivers take to the road to deliverand collect products to and from a variety of locations across theUK.
Our larger warehouses (which we callCFC’s – Customer Fulfilment centres) are cutting edge, and vast(our largest is 573,000sq ft – that’s big enough to accommodate 7Wembley football pitches!) and our LGV Drivers play a crucial rolecollecting shopping and distributing it across our smaller regionalwarehouse sites, for onward delivery to customers. We make a bigpoint that we don’t offer multi drops so there’s no hiddenlanes!
Our LGV Drivers are our unsungheroes and whilst most of us are sleeping they are distributing ourproducts to ensure it’s there as and when we need it.You will berequired to work within a flexible shift pattern consisting ofnights, late, and early shifts, including weekends. You have theoption to work 32 hours over 4 days or 40 hours over 5 days. Ourroutes are assigned up to 12.5 hours per day; as such, you willregularly be expected to carry out additional hours as and whenneeded. This role is based at our Dordon site, Danny Morson Way,Dordon B78 1SE.

So what dowe need from you?
A passionfor driving and all things trucks and lorries, along with thefollowing driving licencerequirements:
- A category C+E drivinglicence
- A maximum of 6 penaltypoints
- No driving disqualifications in the past10 years
- Minimum of 12 months experience onyour driving licence
- Desirable to have aminimum of 6 months LGVexperience
Italso is a prerequisite that you are a safe and competent driverwith the ability to be flexible on your shift length on a dailybasis. As our new state of the art fleet are our pride and joy andwe need to know they are in safehands.

PayStructure: This position is lunar paid. Thismeans you will be paid every 4 weeks according to a monthlyschedule. Please take this into consideration whenapplying.

Basic hourly:£18.42
Evening premium (18:00-06:00):£1.90
Sunday Premium:£1.66
Sunday Evening Premium (18:00-06:00):£3.75
Overtime Day shift rate:£23.02
Overtime evening (18:00-06:00) rate:£25.40
