Day Shift M&E Engineer
The following information provides an overview of the skills, qualities, and qualifications needed for this role.Liverpool Street, City of London£50,000 – £52,000 We are currently recruiting for a Day Shift Engineer to join our client on a prestigious commercial site in Liverpool Street. This is a static role working a 4 on / 4 off day shift pattern, with excellent opportunities for career progression, additional training and AP status. As a Day Shift Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across a range of M&E systems, fault finding, responding to emergencies, maintaining site records and liaising with contractors and the client. Day Shift Engineer Duties:
- PPM and reactive maintenance
- Electrical fault finding, single & three-phase power
- Emergency lighting and fire alarm systems
- BMS operation and monitoring
- AHUs, FCUs, VAVs and VRF/VRV systems
- Generators, pumps and motors
- Water treatment, tap testing, dosing and cooling tower checks
- Maintaining site folders and electronic logbooks
- Managing contractors and assisting with audits and quotations
- Liaising with the client and providing updates on site issues
Day Shift Engineer Requirements:
- City & Guilds / NVQ or equivalent in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
- Apprentice trained – desirable
- Previous xwwtmva building services maintenance experience
- Minimum 3 years’ experience within commercial property maintenance
Salary & Package:
- £50,000 – £52,000 per annum
- 4 on / 4 off day shift pattern
