Overview
In this role you will lead safety, health, environment, quality and BCM efforts across two Gloucester sites, driving compliance and continuous improvement. You will partner with site leadership to embed a strong safety culture and deliver performance against SHE and BCM objectives. The position combines data analysis, policy implementation and cross-site collaboration to support operational excellence. This is an opportunity to influence safety maturity and quality outcomes within a customer-focused logistics environment.

Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day safety, health, environmental and BCM support ensuring statutory compliance across both sites
- Manage ETQ systems and support continuous improvement activities
- Develop, implement and communicate SHE policies and procedures
- Support delivery of annual SHE and BCM objectives through performance management
- Support the wider SHE function in delivering DHL Supply Chain SHE business plan
- Coordinate and support SHE and BCM initiatives across both sites
- Monitor, analyse and report on SHE and quality performance data
- Build strong relationships with site leadership and customers to drive safety culture and continuous improvement
Key requirements
- Previous experience in Health & Safety within logistics or similar operational environment
- Quality Management or Quality Systems experience (desirable)
- NEBOSH General Certificate (essential)
- Access to own vehicle (role covers two Gloucester sites)
- Strong analytical skills with data interpretation and presentation to senior leaders and customers
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Proactive, forward-thinking approach and passion for driving safety culture
