Overview
In this role you work within Stantec’s Civil Engineering team to deliver water infrastructure projects across the UK. You will help shape solutions from feasibility to detailed design, collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams to meet timelines and budgets. The assignment offers exposure to AMP8 projects and the opportunity to mentor and grow with industry leaders. You will contribute to improving water quality and resilience in communities while advancing your professional development.

Responsibilities
- Develop design solutions from needs identification and feasibility through to outline and detailed design
- Collaborate with other disciplines to deliver integrated solutions
- Support and lead other civil engineers within project teams
- Deliver designs and design deliverables within defined timescales and budgets
- Contribute to project planning and stakeholder engagement to ensure successful delivery
Key requirements
- Degree in Civil Engineering (ideally Chartered)
- Experience in the water industry with design and construction knowledge preferred
- Ability to collaborate with multiple disciplines and lead others
- Proven track record delivering design deliverables on time and within budget
- Experience across different project stages from feasibility to detailed design
- Collaborative mindset
