Overview

In this role you will drive resource planning and optimisation to support a growing Nature Services portfolio. You collaborate with senior leaders to balance demand and capacity, embed best practices, and ensure talent is deployed where it creates maximum impact for clients and projects. You will translate workforce data into actionable insights, supporting both operational performance and employee development. Responsibilities

  • Drive resource allocation and optimisation across the Nature Services portfolio
  • Monitor workload utilisation and demand to ensure effective deployment
  • Coordinate resource levelling for UK and India-based teams with development opportunities
  • Deliver initiatives that improve performance, client outcomes and people-focused decision making
  • Contribute to resource management processes, tools, and governance
  • Develop understanding of team capabilities and future skills needs
  • Provide insights on capability gaps and succession planning
  • Support short-, medium-, and long-term workforce planning
  • Shape future capability strategies aligned with growth
  • Build relationships with Project Managers, Directors, HR, Recruitment, Finance and Learning & Development
  • Act as trusted advisor on workforce planning and resource decisions
  • Influence senior stakeholders with data-driven recommendations
  • Facilitate discussions on project staffing, workforce planning and priorities
  • Support resource planning for bids, proposals and new business opportunities
  • Assist mobilisation of major projects and programmes
  • Create opportunities for employee exposure to major projects

Key requirements

  • Significant experience in resource management, workforce planning or project resourcing
  • Experience partnering with managers and senior stakeholders to solve complex business challenges
  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and data accuracy
  • Ability to translate workforce data into actionable recommendations
  • Outstanding relationship-building and stakeholder management skills
  • Confidence to challenge constructively at all levels of the business
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
