Overview
In this role you will shape and implement quality controls across production to ensure safe, reliable Survitec products. You will collaborate with design, manufacturing, QHSE and external partners to set standards, conduct inspections, and drive improvements. You will analyse design and process information to integrate quality practices and ensure conformance with specifications and regulatory requirements. This position emphasizes a safety-first culture and continuous improvement through data-driven decision making.
Responsibilities
- Analyze design and production methods to develop and integrate quality controls across plant, machinery, and people
- Define quality framework, standards, tolerances, and specifications for product lines to meet safety performance
- Plan and execute quality checks, inspections, and remediation actions to ensure conformance with specs and regulations
- Manage day-to-day stakeholder relationships (design engineers, manufacturing, QHSE, partners) within contract management practices
- Identify root causes of quality issues and lead process improvements with production engineers
- Maintain accurate records in the knowledge management system and share insights with teams
- Support product development and engineering activities through customer needs analysis and production guidelines
- Foster an inclusive, values-driven, safety-focused team culture
- Pursue ongoing development and external accreditation where relevant
Key requirements
- Over 3 years of job-related experience
- 6 months of experience supervising or advising others (useful)
- University degree level education
