Finance Manager

Overview

In this Finance Manager role, you will oversee day-to-day accounting for group entities and drive accurate financial data across the portfolio. You will own portfolio company data collection and reporting, including ESG metrics, supporting internal management information and investor materials. You’ll assist with regulatory compliance and fund reporting, working closely with fund administrators. The position offers exposure to venture capital finance in a fast-growing firm with a broad, varied remit and strong potential for impact. This role combines hands-on accounting with strategic reporting to support fundraising and stakeholder decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day accounting for group entities and maintain financial data
• Own data collection, analysis, and reporting for portfolio companies across financial and ESG metrics
• Assist in preparing internal management information, investor reporting, annual financial statements, tax returns, and fundraising materials
• Support regulatory responsibilities and oversee compliance monitoring
• Deliver reporting and insights to internal and external stakeholders
• Collaborate with fund administrators to ensure fund reporting obligations are met
• Engage in ad hoc projects as required

Key requirements

• Newly qualified accountant with up to 2 years post-qualification experience
• Experience with venture capital or private equity clients is ideal
• Exposure to fund finance, investment valuations, and data analysis is ideal
