Overview
In this role you will manage the operational side of Teledyne e2v’s export compliance program from Chelmsford. You will ensure UK, US trade regulations are applied to cross‑border movements, license processing, and regulatory recordkeeping. You will collaborate across US/EMEA licensing teams and internal stakeholders to enable compliant, timely transactions. You contribute to continuous improvement while upholding Teledyne’s ethical standards and core values. This role offers a meaningful impact in a highly regulated, global business environment.

Responsibilities
- Review orders and documentation for completeness and appropriateness
- Screen documents for end-use, denied parties, prohibitions to determine licensing needs
- Prepare and file licenses and authorisations with UK authorities
- Collaborate with US and EMEA licensing counterparts on export/re‑export authorizations
- Manage post-license requirements and ensure compliance with license conditions
- Assess requests for demonstrations to determine licensing needs
- Maintain timely and accurate information status; act as operational point of contact
- Conduct visitor reviews and approvals
- Maintain export-related recordkeeping as required by law
- Stay current on export regulations and related policies
Key requirements
- Understanding of UK, ITAR and EAR regulations
- Proven experience in an international trade compliance role
- Ability to work independently and collaborate cross-functionally
- Strong communication and analytical skills
- Commitment to ethical business conduct and continuous improvement
- Experience with SAP Hana is a plus
