Senior Manager, SAP Financial Accounting & Group Reporting Lead

Overview

You will lead a high-performing SAP Finance practice, shaping large-scale S/4HANA transformation programs for clients. You’ll drive design, delivery and stakeholder engagement, applying the latest SAP functionality and standards. You’ll mentor colleagues, support sales and capability development, and stay ahead with SAP innovations and certification. The role blends strategic leadership with hands-on delivery in a collaborative, global environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of functional consultants to design and deliver SAP finance-enabled solutions for large S/4HANA transformations
• Apply current SAP functionality to achieve clients transformation goals
• Translate business processes into SAP-enabled designs and leverage standard SAP where possible
• Develop strong client stakeholder relationships and support sales and capability-building initiatives
• Mentor junior talent and provide performance feedback
• Keep up-to-date with SAP S/4HANA Financial Accounting innovations and roadmap
• Work with SAP AI and automation technologies in projects
• Attend internal and external training to maintain SAP certification

Key requirements

• Subject matter expertise in SAP S/4HANA Financial Accounting (GL, Group Reporting, Asset Accounting, A/P, A/R)
• Strong understanding of financial accounting concepts and processes (Month End Close, Consolidation, Intercompany)
• Experience designing SAP Enterprise Structure and translating requirements into functional designs
• Experience configuring multiple SAP S/4HANA modules
• Ability to produce design docs and functional specs; QA of team deliverables
• Programme delivery experience using agile and/or waterfall; governance and risk management
• Excellent written and verbal communication; strong stakeholder management
• Understanding of SAP Best Practices and public sector considerations
• Security clearance or ability to obtain (public sector)
