We’re looking for an experienced BMS Lead Engineer to join our growing team. This field-based role offers the opportunity to work across a diverse customer portfolio while supporting critical building control systems and developing your career with a global leader in smart building technology.

The RoleAs a BMS Lead Engineer, you’ll be the trusted technical expert for our customers, delivering service, commissioning excellence, and ensuring systems operate at peak performance. Working independently and as part of a wider team, you’ll support service delivery, system optimisation and future upgrade opportunities.This is a mobile role, predominantly around Glasgow.

What You’ll Be DoingCarrying out planned and reactive maintenance on BMS and control systemsDiagnosing faults and resolving technical issues efficientlyConfiguring and commissioning controllers and network-level devicesModifying software and maintaining accurate system documentationProducing service reports and recommendationsBuilding strong customer relationships and acting as a trusted advisorSupporting upgrade and lifecycle projectsProject design and commissioningWork alongside project managers to achieve project deliveryPromoting OpenBlue and cloud-connected building technologiesMaintaining the highest standards of health, safety and compliance

What We’re Looking ForExperience within BMS, Building Controls or AutomationStrong fault-finding and problem-solving skillsExperience in a customer-facing service environmentGood IT skills, including Microsoft OfficeFull UK Driving LicenceAbility to work independently and participate in an out-of-hours callout rotaHNC/HND in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline (desirable)Experience with Johnson Controls Metasys systems (advantageous)
