Associate MEP Electrical Engineer

Overview

In this role you will lead the electrical discipline on major multidisciplinary projects within a leading global engineering consultancy. You will steer delivery, timelines, budgets, quality, and technical risk while building strong client and stakeholder relationships. You will supervise electrical designs using BIM and Revit MEP and contribute to bids and business development. You will mentor engineers and help grow the team, working on high-profile UK and international projects that drive sustainable, technically advanced solutions. This is a hands-on leadership position that shapes project outcomes and client satisfaction through expert delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead the electrical discipline across major multidisciplinary projects
• Manage project delivery including programmes, budgets, quality, and technical risk
• Develop strong relationships with clients and project stakeholders
• Oversee electrical designs using BIM and Revit MEP
• Support bids, business development and commercial growth
• Lead, mentor and develop engineers across the wider team

Key requirements

• Chartered Electrical Engineer through IET, CIBSE or an equivalent institution
• Significant electrical building services consultancy experience
• Proven delivery of complex UK multidisciplinary projects
• Strong technical, commercial and client-management skills
• Experience leading teams and managing project resources
• BIM and Revit MEP knowledge is highly desirable
