Overview
In this role you will lead and coordinate urgent care delivery across the UTC and satellite minor injuries units, providing expert clinical guidance and ensuring safe handovers. You will work within a multidisciplinary team to maintain high standards of patient care, contribute to governance, and support education and development of the service. The position offers a dynamic leadership opportunity in a busy community urgent care setting, with scope to influence patient flow and care quality. You will engage across departments to sustain effective operations and patient experience.

Responsibilities
- Act as a source of clinical advice for a multidisciplinary team
- Coordinate flow and handover within the UTC across shifts
- Collaborate with Emergency Department and management/operational colleagues
- Contribute to clinical governance processes
- Provide clinical supervision to allied health professionals and junior staff
- Lead with dynamic, assertive clinical leadership to uphold high standards of care
- Assess, diagnose, and manage undifferentiated conditions
- Prescribe safely within local and national guidelines
- Maintain accurate consultation records and support capacity management
Key requirements
- current UK professional registration
- experience in a senior clinical or leadership role in urgent/community care
