CIVIL ENGINEER

Overview

In this role you will support the Transport & Infrastructure team in London, delivering civil infrastructure design across road, drainage and external works for public and private sectors. You will work on multiple projects from inception to completion, contributing to value-for-money engineering solutions. The position offers progression within a long-established firm with a strong regional and national client base. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to broaden your expertise and impact. Responsibilities

• Preliminary and detailed design of roads, levels, drainage and external works
• Manage multiple projects concurrently with cross-discipline collaboration
• Liaise with planning authorities, statutory bodies and clients
• Conduct Flood Risk Assessments and Hydraulic Modelling
• Develop Sustainable Urban Drainage Systems (SUDS) and drainage strategies
• Ensure designs meet public (adoptable) and private realm requirements

Key requirements

• Proficient using Flow or InfoDrainage
• Understanding of multi-disciplinary project flow from planning to delivery
• Experience liaising with planning authorities, statutory undertakers and bodies like Environment Agency
• Experience with Flood Risk Assessments, SUDS, Foul and Storm Water Drainage and Hydraulic Modelling
