Overview

In this role you will design and build a new platform to automate the lifecycle of complex private assets. You will work with cross-functional teams to deliver robust, scalable web services using Java Spring Boot and Angular, ensuring strong testing and a seamless front-end/back-end experience. You will drive high availability, performance, and well-documented APIs for external integrations, contributing to an innovative fintech platform at a leading financial services firm.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop web front-end and back-end services for a new platform
  • Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, scrum masters, and engineers
  • Ensure components are well-tested, clean, and extensible
  • Guarantee usability, scalability, performance, and resilience of the platform
  • Develop with Java Spring Boot and Angular TypeScript
  • Ensure exceptional user experience and smooth front-end/back-end integration
  • Expose clear, documented APIs for external integrations
  • Conduct peer code reviews

Key requirements

  • Experience in Java Spring Boot and Angular web development
  • Strong knowledge of micro-services and micro front-ends
  • Expertise in reactive UX front-end design patterns
  • Experience with high availability and high scalability design patterns
  • Proficiency with GitLab and CI/CD pipelines
  • Experience working in Agile development environments
  • Nice to have: Solidity & EVM-based platforms; blockchain and smart contracts
