Senior Finance Manager

Overview

Senior Manager – Client Finance leads a high-performing finance team delivering accurate insurance client reporting while ensuring regulatory compliance. You’ll own the integrity of results, drive process improvements, and guide onboarding, policy setting, and controls. You’ll interact with boards, audits, and external auditors, and lead IT/system change initiatives. This role blends leadership, technical finance, and stakeholder collaboration to support growth in outsourced insurance services.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a finance team delivering accurate financial reporting for insurance clients
• Ensure integrity of financial results and regulatory compliance
• Drive process improvements and remediation initiatives with internal and external stakeholders
• Lead client onboarding, establish robust accounting policies, documentation and controls
• Prepare and present Board and Audit Committee papers; liaise with external auditors and manage audits
• Oversee tax data submissions and ensure alignment with accounting standards
• Lead finance-related projects including IT systems development and change initiatives
• Champion team development through training and knowledge-sharing in insurance finance

Key requirements

• Qualified accountant with 5+ years in insurance industry financial reporting
• Proven leadership experience managing teams and driving change
• Strong understanding of regulatory returns and financial compliance
• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial systems
• High integrity and alignment with PRIDE values
