In this senior role, you drive the design and delivery of robust application systems within Citi’s Tech organization. You collaborate with multiple management teams to shape system enhancements and deploy new products, balancing business needs with architectural standards. You tackle high-impact problems through deep analysis of processes and systems, guiding mid-level engineers and ensuring risk-aware, compliant delivery. You work in a cross-functional, mentoring capacity to accelerate project outcomes and uphold Citi’s governance and ethics standards. Responsibilities

• Partner with management to align functions and define system enhancements for new products and process improvements
• Resolve high-impact problems by evaluating complex business and system processes
• Provide expertise on applications programming and ensure adherence to architecture blueprints
• Develop standards for coding, testing, debugging, and implementation based on system flow
• Gain comprehensive knowledge of how architecture and infrastructure integrate to achieve business goals
• Provide in-depth analysis to define issues and craft innovative solutions
• Coach and lead mid-level developers and analysts, allocating work as needed
• Assess risk in business decisions and ensure compliance with laws, policies, and ethical standards

Key requirements

• Significant experience in Apps Development or systems analysis
• Extensive experience in system analysis and programming of software applications
• Experience managing and delivering successful projects
• Subject Matter Expert in at least one area of Applications Development
• Ability to adjust priorities quickly and manage changing circumstances
• Demonstrated leadership and project management skills
