Overview
Senior Asset Manager role focusing on Trinity College Cambridge’s UK property endowment, with primary responsibility for Cambridge Science Park. You shape strategy, manage value creation, and oversee lease events, development and sustainability initiatives at a large, multi-asset portfolio. You work with a multidisciplinary team to translate client ambitions into actionable plans and stakeholder engagement, driving long-term impact for one of the College’s significant investments. Responsibilities
- Develop and execute short-, medium- and long-term Asset Management Plans
- Identify value-enhancing opportunities via rent reviews, renewals, re-gears, lettings, refurbishment, development and planning
- Conduct financial assessment of investment and asset management opportunities
- Oversee projects and coordinate internal/external specialists to deliver strategy
- Build trusted relationships with client, occupiers, authorities, and stakeholders
- Ensure Bidwells team aligns with and delivers the asset strategy
- Translate client sustainability ambitions into practical asset-level actions
- Deliver high-quality client reporting and service
- Contribute ideas and experience to the wider Investment and Property Management team
Key requirements
- Solid commercial property and investment management experience across asset classes
- Commercial acumen, financial confidence and ability to build and deliver a business case
- MRICS qualifications are desirable but not mandatory; breadth of experience is valued
- Ability to think strategically and execute operationally
- Strong relationship-building with clients, occupiers and advisers
- Understanding of commercial landlord/tenant matters
- Interest in sustainability and net zero agenda in property investment
