Overview
In this role you will provide day-to-day HR support across the full employee lifecycle within a busy operational environment. You will work closely with employees, managers and the People team to handle recruitment, onboarding, employee relations and HR administration. The position offers broad generalist exposure across production and office staff, with opportunities to shape HR processes and improve the employee experience. This is a hands-on, fast-paced role with clear potential for career development in HR.

Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day HR support to employees and managers
- Act as first point of contact for HR queries and escalate complex matters
- Coordinate recruitment for production and office roles
- Support interviews, offers, and pre-employment processes
- Coordinate onboarding and ensure readiness for start
- Manage HR documentation, records, and system updates
- Support leave administration, background checks and lifecycle processes
- Assist HR reporting, audits and compliance
- Collaborate with Operations to support workforce
- Support employee engagement initiatives and People projects
- Identify opportunities to improve HR processes and employee experience
Key requirements
- At least 1 year of hands-on HR experience
- Experience in general HR administration, recruitment, onboarding or employee support
- Exposure to employee relations or handling employee queries
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organisation and attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, operational environment
- Experience with HRIS, ATS or other HR systems
- Good Microsoft Office and Excel skills
- Ability to handle confidential information professionally
- Polished and professional approach
- Proactive, positive and ambitious attitude
- Willingness to learn and progress within HR
- Experience supporting production or operational workforce (advantageous)
- HR-related degree preferred, though equivalent experience considered
