Investment Banking Senior Analyst, Chemicals

Overview

In this role you support senior bankers in raising capital and advising on mergers and other strategic transactions for clients. You collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze financial data, build valuation models, and prepare materials for pitches and live deals. You will work under pressure to meet deadlines while developing strategic insights and client recommendations. The position sits within Citi’s Institutional Banking group, contributing to capital formation and advisory outcomes at scale.

Responsibilities

• Assist on client transactions and assignments as a junior member of the Investment Banking team
• Organize and analyze sophisticated financial data used in proposals and strategic plans
• Prepare written recommendations, valuation materials and statistical exhibits for pitches and live deals
• Conduct economic/financial research
• Evaluate a company’s performance against industry and market trends
• Build complex financial models for valuation purposes

Key requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
