Credit Analyst, High Yield

Overview

In this role you will conduct bottom-up research on high yield and leveraged borrowers across global markets, and develop differentiated investment theses to support portfolio decisions. You will translate research into clear, actionable views while monitoring macro and sector developments that influence credit outcomes. You will engage with management, advisers and market participants to refine ideas and communicate key risks. Joining the Global Credit team, you will help shape credit opportunities, contribute to investment decisions, and share insights across the platform.

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed bottom-up research on high yield and leveraged corporate borrowers across global markets
• Assess business models, competitive positioning, earnings quality, leverage, liquidity, cash generation and capital structures
• Identify mispriced credit through fundamental and relative-value analysis and market technicals
• Develop clear investment theses and communicate risks, catalysts and potential downside for issuers
• Monitor portfolio companies and update views as conditions evolve
• Follow sectors, macro developments, regulation and other factors influencing credit outcomes
• Participate in meetings with management, advisers and market participants, preparing focused questions
• Collaborate with portfolio managers and credit team to challenge assumptions and refine conclusions
• Share research, market observations and investment ideas across the platform

Key requirements

• Approximately 3-5 years of relevant corporate credit experience
• Ability to translate detailed fundamental research into a clear, actionable investment view
• Curiosity about drivers of credit quality, valuation, and pricing
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to articulate an investment view
• Strong academic credentials and commitment to developing as an investor
