Overview
As Product Manager II, you will shape and scale the personalization platform that powers relevant traveller experiences across journeys. You’ll own cold-start, new, and anonymous traveler use cases, leveraging context, signals, experimentation, and ML to drive relevance from first touch. You’ll partner with engineering, data science, design, analytics, and business teams to translate problems into platform capabilities and measurable outcomes. This hands-on role blends customer insight with technical trade-offs to deliver impactful, scalable personalization.
Responsibilities
- Define and communicate the product priorities and roadmap for personalization serving cold-start, new, and anonymous travelers
- Translate traveler and business needs into clear platform requirements, narratives, success metrics, and prioritized backlogs
- Partner with engineering and data science on contextual personalization, identity resolution, feature generation, model serving, and decisioning
- Collaborate with product teams to make shared personalization capabilities easy to adopt, test, understand, and measure
- Lead discovery and experimentation including hypothesis development, test design, rollout planning, and result interpretation
- Make trade-offs across traveler value, business objectives, privacy, fairness, explainability, operational complexity, latency, and platform scalability
Key requirements
- 2+ years shipping ML products or platform capabilities in a product management role
- Strong product judgment and ability to frame ambiguous problems and identify high-value opportunities
- Comfort with technical teams on APIs, data flows, event instrumentation, model inputs/outputs, experimentation systems, or similar platform concepts
- Experience defining measurable outcomes and using quantitative/qualitative evidence to guide decisions
- Customer-centered mindset and curiosity about how travelers discover, compare, and choose travel products
